2018 CONVENTION REPORT
KC Peaden, Convention Coordinator & Vice President Postmasters Retired
Thank you all who attended - Everyone made it a HUGE SUCCESS!!
We had 95 in attendance: 33 Postmasters, Managers and Supervisors (13 First Timers) - 14 Retirees, 10 guests, 16 speakers & 22 vendors
Our 13 First Timers and 8 of their sponsors all received FREE REGISTRATION!!


We had a great line up of training which started off with out District Manager's Forum - Eric Chavez, Suncoast District - David Martin, Gulf Atlantic District and Tim Costello, South District. - Eric Chavez also gave a class on Informed Visibility. - David Martin and Tim Costello offered training on eCareer, which included critiques on ecareer, interview techniques, guestions & answers. Jose Melendez, Rockledge Postmaster offered training on hiring. Linda Burbage, Field Financial Specialist offered training on Postal Retail Unit review.

Tony Leonardi spoke on updates from the National Office and we heard from two very qualified candidates for National President Dan Heins and Richard Hui. National Vice President Retirees Rodney Boland and Executive Vice President Nancy Grace spoke on UPMA Officer's training, what you need to know to be a successful UPMA officer.

ELECTIONS:
State President Retirees - Mike McCullough and Vice President Sandee Peaden-Oliver (will continue in their positions) -
Already on board Executive Vice President Sandy Stokes, Secretary Cathy Owens, Vice President KC Peaden and Past President Donna Loud.
State President Tony Leonardi, Secretary Lori McDonough, Vice President Atlantic Gulf Arch Rogers, Vice President South Victor Lopez (beginning November 1, 2018). They will be joining Executive Vice President Nancy Grace, Treasurer John Newbold, Vice President Gulf Atlantic Ericka Carmichael, Vice President Suncoast Sherry Jude, Vice President South Patricia Copeland-Johnson and President Retirees Mike McCullough

Members: Here is a proposal to change when your newly elected officers officially take over their duties. Your vote is needed at our state convention and there must be a 2/3 majority vote to pass.
